image How can I access the wireless network on my laptop and smartphone?

If you are a staff member or student in University of Taipei, you don't have to apply. Read Tutorial.
If you are invited to University of Taipei, please ask the department which invited you for help.

imageWhy can't I access the wireless network?

This problem can be divided into 2 categories.
1.Using "uTaipei-auto " to access.
Please follow the instructions in the Tutorial. If you still have difficulty accessing, it might be caused by an error in your password. The password of WIFI is the same as the one in your Information System.If there is still no connection, please bring your laptops or devices to our center.We will try to solve this problem.

2.Using "uTaipei-WLAN" to access

Sometimes this problem is caused by the incompatibility of the browser. You can change to another browser, and login with your id and password for the Information System. If you still cannot log in, we recommend the you access "uTaipei-auto" and follow the Tutorial.If there is still no connection, please bring your laptops or devices to our center.We will try to solve this problem.
imageI want to use WIFI, how can I apply?

If you are a staff member or student in University of Taipei, you don't have to apply. Read the Tutorial.

You can access WIFI by "uTaipei-auto" or "uTaipei-WLAN", anywhere except the dormitory.

Students can access the WIFI in other schools, if the school is a member of "TANET Roaming". Default Id is "STUDENTID@utaipei.edu.tw" (STUDENTID is your student id). The members of TANET Roaming can be found at http://wlanrc.nchc.org.tw/.

imageI cannot access the wired Network.

It may be caused by a link error or wrong setting, or being blocked by Network Management system.  )lease contact Bo-Ai Campus: 02-2311-3040 ext 8520.   Tian-Mu Campus ext 3507
imageIf my ip is blocked by Network Management System, what should I do?

There could be 2 possible reasons your device is blocked.
1.You exceeded the limit（Bo-Ai Campus is 1GB/day）。
2.Your device is infected by a virus which was detected by Network Management System
For the safety of the network, we will block your IP  temporarily.If you still don't know the reason, please contact Bo-Ai Campus: 02-2311-3040 ext 8520.   Tian-Mu Campus ext 3507.
image If I need to access the internet on my laptop in the library, how should I do it?

1. You can access the wireless network as anywhere else in this campus.
2. If you need to access the wired network, please ask the staff in the library.

          Student Gmail(Homepage/Student/Gmail)

          ID：STUDENTID@go.utaipei.edu.tw     Password： ID Number(With the first letter capital)

imageWhat should I do if I forget the password of my E-mail?

 Default password is your ID number(With the first letter capital) If you changed your password before, please bring your student card to The Computer and Network Center. We can change your password for you after confirming your identity.
